Project
LIVING DESIGN, a landscape and exterior design company in Gifu, renewed its identity and website together. BIRTHDeY redesigned the logo, rebuilt the website around the new visual direction, and produced a brand film to communicate the thinking behind the work.
Changing the first impression through identity
The previous casual logo was replaced with a calmer, more substantial identity aligned with the company’s future clients and direction, including a new deep green brand color.
Carrying the identity through the website
The website uses white space, the new logo and deep green accents while allowing garden photography to carry most of the visual character.
Three clearer ways into the business
Services previously presented together were reorganized around new homes, renovations and commercial projects, each with relevant information and examples.
Explaining the brand in film
A brand film combines an interview with the founder and scenes from completed gardens to communicate ideas and atmosphere that are difficult to express through copy and still images alone.
